Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
Your existing exports stay yours. New exports pause until your monthly quota resets, or you can upgrade for instant access to a higher limit.
Do unused videos roll over?
Monthly quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused exports do not carry over — pick the plan that matches your typical posting cadence.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing is $1/month cheaper on both plans — $12 off per year (about 14% on Pro and 7% on Max Pro).
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. Apple Pay and Google Pay coming soon. Invoiced billing is available for Max Pro annual plans on request.
Can I use captionrich for client work?
Yes. All paid plans cover commercial use — exports are yours to publish for personal channels, brands, or client projects.
How accurate is the transcription on each plan?
Every plan uses the same state-of-the-art transcription — the same 99% accuracy on Free, Pro, and Max Pro. Pro and Max Pro get a priority transcription queue, but the underlying model is identical.
Which plans include AI caption translation?
AI caption translation (99+ languages, with meaning and tone preserved) is included on Pro and Max Pro. The Free plan covers transcription in 50+ languages but does not include translation between languages.
What are AI tokens?
AI tokens power the features that use our language model — smart scenes, auto B-roll, auto emoji, motion graphics, remove bad takes, AI clips, and translation. Pro includes 5 million tokens per month and Max Pro includes 10 million. A typical AI edit uses only a few thousand, so that's hundreds of generations a month. Transcription, caption styles, and the editor itself are always included and never use AI tokens. The Free plan doesn't include AI tokens.
Can I save my projects to the cloud?
Cloud project storage is a paid feature. Pro and Max Pro can save up to 5 projects to the cloud and resume them on any device. The Free plan lets you create, edit, and export — but projects aren't stored online. If you cancel or your subscription ends, your cloud projects are removed, so export anything you want to keep before then.
Do any plans have a watermark?
No. Every plan — Free, Pro, and Max Pro — exports cleanly with no captionrich watermark. Your videos always look like yours.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — within 14 days of your first payment if captionrich isn't a fit. Email support@captionrich.com and we'll handle it.
